New Lactation Specialist

Spokane Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of a Lactation Specialist to our Team!

Andrea Durham, CBS, ICCE

 

Andrea was raised in the Spokane area, where she met and married her husband.  She has worked as a busy birth doula and childbirth educator since 2011. After delivering preemie twins, with medical complexities and feeding difficulties it became clear that more support for NICU families was needed and thus Spokane NICU Support was founded.  She continued adding perinatal support through extensive breastfeeding specific education.  

Andrea is passionate about helping families through pregnancy and the postpartum period. She continues to support families through the perinatal period with birth and breastfeeding classes, as well as running multiple NICU support groups. 

When she’s not helping new families, she’s chasing her own seven small children and dozens of chickens, playing Uber driver to multiple activities, and homeschooling her crazy bunch.
