Spokane Pediatrics Vaccine Policy

As a practice, we believe that timely vaccinations, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) schedule and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), are the most appropriate and safe way to protect your child against serious and preventable viral and bacterial diseases of childhood and young adulthood. Vaccines have been well-studied and researched, and it has been clearly demonstrated that any possible risk from vaccination is far outweighed by the benefits of preventing life-threatening pediatric illnesses.

As parents ourselves, we also understand that your child is your number one priority and that you may have questions about his/her health including the importance of vaccines. We look forward to answering these questions for you or providing resources to help with this. We realize there is a great deal of information regarding vaccines available to families. We will help direct you toward evidence-based information which should provide answers to your questions.

At Spokane Pediatrics, we feel that vaccines are singlehandedly one of the most important aspects of pediatric care that we can offer your children.
